CMD was founded by André Citroën in 1901 and became part of Groupe CIF in 2005.

We are experts in high torque, low speed power transmission and CMD provides solutions that advance industrial projects all over the world in many business sectors, particularly in energy, metallurgy, sugar processing, mining, cement and rubber industries.

CMD designs, develops, produces, installs and provides maintenance of power transmission solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each customer. Our products include parallel helical, planetary and worm reducers / gearboxes as well as grid / spring and gear couplings.

Our reducer brands evolved over time and include CMD, Citroen, Messian, Durand, ERmaster, Jumborex, ERsun, Millrex, Rollerex, Canflex, Canemaster, Bogiflex and KGD. Our coupling brands include Flexident gear and Flexacier / Winflex grid couplings.
